He has indicated that he has a work exchange need for English teachers for kids in the hill tribe school in north Thailand, Chiang Rai provence. I have done this many times, also with my CS guests and work exchange visitors. Please, no riff riff or freeloaders.... you need to contribute; it's not a free thing. Welcome to The Golden Triangle / North Thailand and Happy New Year! Wishing all you travellers a happy, fun, educational, safe, healthy, and enlightening trip in 2018! I am just back from a very long trip myself; back home and am accepting guests again. It's really nice to be back home in my little village. Mostly my guests are "work exchange" travelers. However, it is possible that I can accept short term CS guests (1-3 days) that would like to do short term work exchange like helping with the house work, or some cooking and kitchen work, food, and beer, etc.. - not just stay for free. You can see, I have hosted many CS and WA guests (about 300+?). Unfortunately though, most Couch Surfers think I have a free hotel. What is instead, is more like a free small commune at times - even with 1-3 people. That's the philosophy anyway. Nevertheless, everyone needs to contribute to some housecleaning, cooking, food and beer etc. If you would like to stay longer than 3 days, we can upgrade to a work exchange situation (I can give details about that later). I have a nice little humble, quaint house in a beautiful little village in "the real" Thailand where there are no tourists or travelers, next to an Akha Hilltribe community. In the are there are a variety of scenic and cultural sights to behold (1/2 - 1 day trips). Also...make certain that you want to come and visit; don't make plans to come and stay at my house (which effects my daily plans) and then just cancel because you are not sure and decide to do something else. Hhhmmm... maybe I wanted to take a trip or do something but don't because CS guests are coming - and then can't! Maybe other travelers wanted to come and stay and can't. It's rude, and it wastes my time. Make sure you want to come, then ask if I am available; confirm, then come. Common courtesy, yes??? :))) Anyway, welcome! Hi everybody! I am a teacher in a local high school. I like to play badminton. If i have free time i enjoy watching movies. If its the weekend, or night time, i can show you around the city. I work during the day.

I'm a musician from Thailand. I teach music in local schools and perform at different venues where I live in Northern Thailand. I want people to experience real Thai culture, I can arrange for you to stay at a temple, a school or my sister's house. This will be a unique couchsurfing experience for you! Wat Doi Thep Nimit - this is a larger temple with 16 monks and 1 Nun living there. The monks here practice prayer and meditation everyday. You can stay here and learn about meditation and the Buddhist way of life. If you want to stay at this temple there are some rules to follow - please read *MY HOME* for more information. Wat Mueang Klang - TBC Hilltribe school - the school is in a beautiful location and the children come from the local village or over the border from Myanmar. They know very little English and it would be really good if you could teach them for a couple of hours a day while you stay here. My sister's house - if you want a more traditional couchsurfing experience you are very welcome to stay with my sister. She only speaks a little English but you can learn Thai with her. She practices meditation everyday and can help you with this.
