CURRENT MISSION To unite diverse voices so we can serve and celebrate life together. ABOUT ME I have been an International Coordinator out of Tokyo for the past 10+ years and have guided cross cultural educational exchanges around the world for high school and university students. Some trips have been to Belize, Costa Rica, Haiti, India, Martinique, France, Utah, Nevis/St.Kitts, Peru, Puerto Rico, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania and most recently, Cuba! Sometimes I am a performing artist, singing and acting on stage. I love languages and speak French, Bambara, intermediate Spanish, beginning Japanese and dabble in other languages. I have worked over the years in positive youth development, non-violent communication and even environmental awareness in West Africa, India, the Bay Area of San Francisco. In SF, my teaching was complimented with live musical performances for over a decade using the accordion and performing with other educators. I like to swim, snorkel, scuba, run, bike, hike, dance, ski and snowboard. I was a Rotary World Peace Fellow in Tokyo, a volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps in Mali, West Africa, and a team leader in AmeriCorps N-Triple-C in Washington, D.C. In the past I have taught English in France, Taiwan and currently in Japan and I have enjoyed volunteering in Sri Lanka as part of my thesis research, along with study and volunteering which took place in Peru in the Cuzco area and also within the community of Infierno in Puerto Maldonado within the Amazon basin. PHILOSOPHY Do unto others as you wish them to do unto you. Strive to enjoy life as much as possible and seek to be engaged, active and learning all the time. Collaborate with others on adventures of a lifetime, make new personal and professional discoveries, projects and find friends that fuel your soul (a challenge for me lately). Creativity and sharing always adds to the beautiful colors of our lives.

We are a family of three. We are very busy right now and it's sometimes difficult to welcome everyone to our couch. However, we are free at times, so please send us a message if you'd like to stay. My wife doesn't want to be a long-term host. I 'm Cat lover but has allergic... ■ House ■ Traditional Japanese house built about 60 years ago. It's been renovated so beautiful. ■ Location ■ Our house is about 25 minutes by car from Narita Airport Terminal 2. Rural, no train station. There is a bus from the airport, but it runs once an hour. Our house to Tokyo by bus+train about 2 hour. When you think of Japan, you might think of Kyoto or Nara, but in the city next to my house, there's a large temple that's famous, yet not so famous. (It's well-known among Japanese people, but not so much among foreigners.) If you want to experience a different side of Japan, I recommend the area around my house. It's typical Japanese countryside, and there are lots of small (but charming) temples. ■ Surroundings ■ Japqnese rural. 20-minute drive to the sea(Pacific ocean). Depending on the season, you can swim. Bring your swimsuit. Some people are surfing, but we don't. (The waves are very strong, making it a dangerous sea for those who are not used to it.) ■ Our Family ■ Two adults and One child(girl). My daughter has dairy and egg allergies. wants to play with you sometimes,is a very good teacher for learning Japanese! loves cats and youtube; My wife is Patissiere(pâtissière). Confectionery Hygiene Master. Now she become Designer about pakage and sale of packaging materials. ■ My story ■ I am CG Artist, engineer. In the past, I was working on mostly Japanese Anime movies, and some console games. You can find my old works on Internet as "Yuji TONE".(not Actor) Especially about Anime. Job is making videos about anime and games, but I'm not knowledgeable enough about them to be called an otaku. It may seem strange, but job and my hobbies are separate, you know? We moved Rural-Chiba from Tokyo to escape stress. ■ Hobby ■ Getting outside in the sun ! (I work from my room so this is a reaction to that.) Audio electronics repair.Making Techno music. ■ In addition.. ■ Youtube "TheUftone".

I love traveling. Meeting new people is exciting. And I want to eat food from all over the world.
British and Japanese background based in Japan. Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to connect with people from around the world. It is not just about hosts and guests. It is where resilience meets adventure. It is about meeting new people, sharing adventures, experiences right across the world, and living life alongside others while travelling the globe.
CURRENT MISSION I travel all around the world. I started my travel from February 2025. (Sorry, I'm on an extended trip and can't host anyone.) I'm interested in local food, scenery, a little adventure. I allready visited Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Mongolia,Denmark, Norway, Sweden. ABOUT ME I am traveler. (Previously, I was a writer covering travel, IT technology, and corporate profiles.) The best moment of traveling is when I arrive at a cheap inn after a troubled journey and enjoy a delicious beer. And whether it's a beer after a hike or a beer after enjoying a spectacular view, if I can drink some delicious beer, I can say that the day was a great one.(However, I can't drink a lot of alcohol. I'm having a fun conversation and after about three bottles I get sleepy lol) I'm friendly but sometimes introverted, I enjoy quiet times, chatting with people. Prior to this trip, I had traveled to Myanmar, Cambodia, Taiwan, Australia, Iceland, Colombia, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador. PHILOSOPHY Smile is the best
