Howdy surfer fellows! I'm itay, I live in Luzern, beautiful city, work in architecture, do music and socialize on the rest of the time. Im not always feeling like paying the subscription, therefore you can find me on other hospitality webpages. Write me something short about yourself and it will also help me know you better before i host you. Love to all. Cheers!
I try hosting as much as I can. I‘m very generous, but not rich. It means a lot to me if you BRING A BOTTLE OF WINE OR COOK YOUR FAV DISH :) If I’m not replying on time hit me up on instagram @joudicos ———— Hi! I'm Jordi from Barcelona. Some people call me Asher, which means happiness in Hebrew. I’m a jurist by education, deeply curious about the power of shaping reality. I resonate with the archetype of the lawyer-shaman, someone who articulates matrixes of reality. I try not to take life too seriously, while staying responsible and mindful of others. Love and humor move me. I value authenticity and wildness in people. I'm tolerant and non-judgmental, understanding that life is complex and much of it is relative. I see the bright side in everyone. I enjoy deep conversations on a broad range of topics: philosophy, religion, world cultures, geopolitics, arts, physics, and spiritual connections. For me, there is no absolute right or wrong. Instead, I see actions as being driven by either love or fear. I'm a passionate traveler. The hospitality of kind strangers has left a lasting impression on me, and I host as a way to give back good karma. Traveling is a great school of life. Hosting is, in a way, a continuation of traveling. I believe in the original spirit of Couchsurfing, a meaningful cultural exchange between humans. While I do occasionally host travelers in urgent need of a place for the night, I typically offer stays of up to two nights. If we get along and circumstances allow, we can extend. I only welcome good vibes at home :) This long comprehensive profile is intentional. I wish you also feel open to share who you are in a meaningful way. Below some of my adventures along the way =D Hitchhiked across the UK and Ireland at 18. Lived in an Israeli kibbutz at 19. Hitchhiked from Barcelona to Shanghai at 20. Co-organized the biggest college parties in Barcelona to fund student scholarships. Co-founded a youth movement for Catalonia’s independence (though my political perspective has evolved). Taught chess for children in London. Traveled Norway’s fjords in a campervan. Crossed Russia on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Entered China from Mongolia in a charcoal truck. Sailed the Indonesian archipelago. Studied hatha yoga and pranayama in an Indian ashram. Spent time in a Himalayan cabin in Malana. Crossed the Ganges River swimming two times. Slept on the streets of Tokyo to experience Japan’s homeless landscape. Got caught squatting a beachtront house in Taiwan, and then got invited to be resident artist in the same owner’s resort on the island. Hiked an active volcano in Indonesia. Joined the 2017 World Rainbow Gathering in Java. Helped plant a forest in Nepal. Organized a Spanish language school in China. Rented out villas in Vietnam. Lived in China for almost two years! :) Cycled from Istanbul to Barcelona. Sold drawings in the streets and markets of Taipei, Belgrade, and Berlin. Built a campervan in Canada and traveled across North America's West Coast. Had a cat give birth to kittens beside me on my bed on a full-moon night. Sat and served four times at a 10-day Vipassana retreat led by Goenka :) And many other stories of failures XD Lately, I’ve been working in HR Consulting for Finance and Technology in Zürich. I enjoy adventures with my VW T6 California campervan, bicycles and kayak :)
Life is always shifting, and so am I. I'm currently based in beautiful Lucenre, Switzerland, going through a new chapter after living with my wife — we’re now taking time apart and finding our own paths. By day, I work full-time (Mon–Fri, 9 to 6), and by night, I dive into the world of rhythm — I teach Salsa and Bachata for beginners and take classes myself three times a week. Music, dance, travel, and connecting with new people are what keep me energized. I’ve always been driven by curiosity — about the universe, about cultures, about people. I’m a Systems Engineer with a passion for science, astronomy, and the random magic of everyday life. Whether it’s deep talks or spontaneous plans, I’m up for the moment.

Hello! 👋 I’m Claudio, and for my current Morocco road trip I’m travelling with my son Justin. We’re a father-and-son travel team based in Switzerland and Germany. We want to experience Morocco through its people, everyday life and culture – not only through the main sights. 💬🍲 🧑💼 Claudio: Originally trained in hospitality and now working in financial planning – loves planning, learning languages, strength training, football, books and making strong coffee. 🧑 Justin: My son and travel companion for this trip. We’re using these two weeks to share a real father-and-son adventure and meet interesting people along the way. ✨ What we’re looking for: We’re hoping to meet open-hearted people – whether for a place to sleep, a chat in your kitchen, coffee or tea, a shared meal, a walk around the city or a spontaneous activity. A sofa is welcome, but the personal connection matters more. 💛 🙌 Why Couchsurfing? Because it’s about people, not places. Even a short meeting can bring new stories, ideas and perspectives. We’ll never expect more than you can offer, and we don’t need to be entertained. 🔧 What we offer: We’re uncomplicated guests and happy to contribute by: • 🧽 Helping to clean up or organise • 🍽️ Helping with a meal and the washing-up • ☕ Making strong coffee • 🗣️ Helping with German or English • 🪛 Fixing small things (yes, Claudio still likes travelling with a multitool 😄) • 💬 Sharing stories and experiences • 🙏 Listening, learning and laughing 🗣️ Languages: German 🇩🇪 (native – Claudio) English 🇬🇧 (fluent – Claudio) Italian 🇮🇹 (learning – Claudio) 📣 Let’s connect if this sounds like a good vibe. We’d love to meet you – whether you can host us or simply have time for coffee, a walk and a story! Warmest wishes Claudio and Justin
CURRENT MISSION Travel 6 months every year ABOUT ME Retired Professor of Computer Science at the university of Lucerne in Switzerland. I worked part time (80%) to be able to travel for 3 months per year. In 2006 I could take 6 months off and 2008/09 another 4 months for hitchhiking the Sahara and the Sahel from Morocco to Ghana in West Africa. I like skiing in winter, swimming and riding my motorbike during the rest of the year. PHILOSOPHY A traveller in spirit and mind. I like to meet and get to know people from all over the world. Exchange information and ideas about all subjects of our beautiful world.
ABOUT ME sportive (tennis, snowboarding, skiing) when I was "young", now I'm lazy.. but I cook very well! ;-) PHILOSOPHY to live
I live in Sörenberg, not in Luzern, and unfortunately I can’t offer accommodation now. But if you are coming to Sörenberg or Luzern, I’m happy to show you around if I have time. I’m Ukrainian and have been living in Switzerland for about one year. At the moment, I’m learning German. I’m interested in new cultures, new countries and different ways of living. For me, Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to explore a place through local eyes. When I was 30, I decided to travel without much money and trust the road. I hitchhiked and played the glucophone in the streets. This experience deeply changed me and helped me meet many like-minded people who are curious about life and open to something new. During my travels in Asia, I started practicing meditation, visited sacred places in India and completed five Vipassana retreats. I also spent 1.5 months in a monastery in Myanmar, practicing meditation and living a very simple, quiet life. I visited different spiritual festivals and retreats, including Osho retreats, lived in a retreat centre, and later became interested in art therapy. I love meaningful conversations, singing improvisation, art therapy, nature and people’s life stories. I’m quite a spontaneous person. I’m happy to meet, go for a walk, share a meal, cook something Ukrainian, offer a small meditation or art-therapy practice, talk about travels, or share some tips about Switzerland if I can. My Facebook: https://web.facebook.com/HelenGlory13 May I be happy. May all beings be happy.
CURRENT MISSION kinda settled down and busy as an entrepreneur - but still ready to trip around ABOUT ME vespa, sup, mtb, playing poker, ultimate, pool, pétanque and having a blast with friends. If you ask some one else, they would probably say that I'm easy going and openminded, uncomplicated and loves to cook. PHILOSOPHY 🐝 happy 🤗 with that you provoke everything
