I prefer requests maximum ten days before because mostly I don't plan hosting more than that in advance. Last minute might be ok as well. GENERAL ADVICE: CS has many inactive profiles. If you search for hosts, you could choose the option "last time online" to find active members and have a look at their reply rate. Better use the browser instead of the app, as it's displayed better and you can use more filters at the same time.
