Hello fellow couch-surfers! 👋 I'm thrilled to be part of this vibrant community. I'm a cyber security professional by day, working in a reputed MNC, where I tackle digital puzzles and safeguard online spaces. 🖥️🔐 When I'm not decoding the mysteries of the cyber world, you can find me in my in-house massage studio treating my clients with stress and pain. I am also indulged in my love for travel. I'm always eager to explore new places, soak in different cultures, and meet interesting people along the way. 🌍✈️ I'm a certified professional masseuse, passionate chef and a sketch artist. I believe that couch surfing is not just about finding a place to stay; it's about building connections, sharing experiences, and creating memories. I'm looking forward to making new friends. Hope to meet you soon!

I live near Dublin in a quiet and comfortable area with good public transport connections to the city, so getting into Dublin is easy and convenient 🍀 I have a spare private guest room where you can stay and feel at home. I work at Google EMEA European headquarters in Dublin. If you are interested, I can also show you the Google office, which is one of the biggest Google offices in the world 🏢 I really enjoy hosting curious and open minded people. What I value most is learning something new from my guests, whether it is a skill, a perspective, or something from your culture. If you like cooking and want to share some cooking skills, that is always welcome, but not crucial. I am happy to show you around Dublin and nearby places, share local tips, and explore together when possible. Let me know if you are interested. I would be very happy to host you 🙂
Hey everyone, nice to meet you! Not long ago I moved to Europe and joined this community. My personality type is something between introvert and extrovert. My main way to relax is hiking in the mountains. What about you?
CURRENT MISSION Meeting as many amazing people from Couchsurfing as possible... ABOUT ME I am an open book so feel free to ask me anything you think might be important. I am open-minded, queer and quite laid back, I love having fun and generally I don't sweat the small stuff! Life is too short. I am passionate about what I do simply because I love to meet new people all the time. I am fiercely loyal and my friendship lasts a lifetime. Like everyone on here I love to travel and am lucky enough to have a job which allows me to travel for 6 months every year whether 5 months in South America or meeting amazing people for a few hours. I've had fun times and saw mind blowing sights. I also adore where I am from; despite having visited some 30+ countries my homeland of Ireland is still once of my favourite places in the world. I speak 2 languages fluently (English and Gaelic), I can communicate fairly well in a third (French) and I speak basic Spanish. I believe it is very important to at least attempt to learn the language in any country one visits so that that initial barrier can be broken down. Unfortunately, languages are not my strongest point but I'm a friendly happy-go-lucky sort of soul who will find other ways to communicate. As I mentioned earlier I am a very approachable guy, an "open book" in the proverbial sense, so please feel free to ask anything at all. PHILOSOPHY Live life like you have a short time left...dance like nobody is watching and laugh so hard from your belly that your soul will sing. I am a huge believer in karma. I always try to help people and treat them as I would like to be treated.
CURRENT MISSION Life is a short journey, it has to be enjoyed ABOUT ME I am an Egyptian guy living in Dublin. Travelling around the world is a primary life goal. I have already settled in few countries and these experiences definitely fostered my personality. I enjoy getting to know diverse cultures and meeting new people. Also, I love raving, sports, reading, and cooking. I don't have a lot to say about myself, I prefer that people would try exploring who I am! IG: destination_hollow PHILOSOPHY Years of studying management revealed for me the organisational purpose of existence. Yet, there is very little to be known regarding the purpose of existence for individuals. Either this purpose is fame, money, worshipping God, or even nothing, there is no justification for building our success over the pain of others. It's already a fact that whatever we gain will never sustain. The vast majority of organisations exist to satisfy shareholders with sustainable profits. It is argued that these entities can live for good if they are managed in an appropriate system. However, individuals can't act like organisations. No matter what we do, we can't exist for good. Subsequently, profit maximisation should never be the overriding aim of mankind. We are all leaving, shortly. So lets keep all life pressures aside and think of how we can create some nice memories. Peace upon those who loved when everybody else hated, who respected when everybody else despised, and cared when everybody else ignored.
After 4 years out of CouchSurfing I am finally back 😁 Looking forward to meet new travelers
After more than a year on the road, I kind of settled down in Dublin and now more than happy to accept guests, taste and experience that side of couchsurfing too. ---------------------------------------------------------------- I'm Bálint, born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. I moved to Ireland in 2023 when I started university there. I travelled full time for 15 months and I have clear intentions to do it again, but for longer... As I grew up, I visited many places both in Hungary and in the neighbouring countries, fell in love with remote places and spontaneous trips. I discovered the beauty of travelling solo during and mostly after the Covid-19 pandemic. Travelling makes you know yourself, the world, and the connection of these two better. I love getting to know other, different people, their lifestyles, mindset, and chatting about any topics, including more controversial ones. (If everyone would be in the same opinion, the world would be absolutely boring.) Experiences through travelling gave me unique, significant and valuable lessons, and I would like to share parts of this physical and spiritual journey with people. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and having a great time!
Hiya! My name is Sam Sam Chua. My friends normally call me Sam for ease of reference! A brief introduction of mine, I was born and raised in Malaysia, a tropical, multicultural country with good food! I had the opportunity to study abroad in the UK, and eventually got a job and worked there for two years. I am kinda an individualist. I like solo traveling. I like sports. I like reading. I like cooking. I am really outgoing, sporty, and spontaneous. I like to talk to people from different background and listen to their side of their stories. I am very spontaneous and crazy. I am up to anything as long as not water sports I cannot swim 😅
I'm trying to enjoy life as much as I can and in the meantime I'm sure I'm going to meet lovely and interesting people. Actually that's one thing that gets me exited, it is one of the main reasons I'm traveling and using couch surfing.
