Hi there. I am a full-time artist living between Kentucky and the Monterey Bay area. I love to ride my electric bike when I don't need to drive. I usually eat pretty clean, but a good grilled cheese sandwich is sometimes hard to pass up. I'm happy that vegetarian cuisine has become much more tasty recently. I am also a long-time nudist - clothing-optional beaches are always a welcome sight. I prefer: Beauty over glamor… Silence over television… Solitude over Disneyland… The ocean over the desert… Red over white… Inviting over excluding… Passion over status quo… Revelation over knowledge… Being over believing. He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist. ~Saint Francis of Assisi

I’m a free-spirited chef from California who enjoys adventure, meaningful conversations, and connecting with people from different walks of life. Food is a huge part of who I am — I work as a private chef and love exploring farmers markets, local restaurants, and different cultures through cooking. I’m passionate about community, creativity, music, nature, and living life with intention. When I’m not cooking, you’ll usually find me hiking, cycling, exploring coastal towns, or working toward new health and fitness goals. I enjoy meeting genuine people, sharing stories, and learning through travel and human connection. Instagram: Personal — @anthonyecruz Chef/Culinary — @chefanthonyecruz

Hi! 😊🌸 My name is V (short for Victoria). I've lived across a few states (mainly Upstate NY, Pennsylvania, and California) and a few countries (Colombia, China, and Chile). In my travels, I've been so fortunate to be hosted by friends and friends-of-friends who have been willing to take me in so I could experience a new place. While I can't host at the moment (I live with a roommate and need to respect their wishes), I'm hoping to become more involved in this community to meet others as we explore the world. Recently, I bike-packed 300 miles along the Erie Canal in Upstate, NY. That was definitely the most athletic adventure I've had in a while! Typically, I'm an urban backpacker ("ratchpacker" as I call it, because my travel equipment tends to be basic and I believe you don't need fancy supplies to get an idea off the ground!), and love learning about the history of places, especially around labor and industry, and trying out the local delicacies. 🤌 I'm currently a grad student in Monterey, California, but the Rust Belt feels most like home to me. Fan of salsa dancing, baseball, 2000's pop music, and trying new foods. I look forward to connecting and sharing together!
