Please don't send me requests for NYC! I live nowhere near it. I'm a student in Buffalo, NY. I'm studying to become a physician assistant, and if all goes well I should get my Master's in 2018 (Update! I graduated and have started working. I specialize in infectious diseases). I'm interested in infectious diseases and global health. I'm looking to try new things and have new experiences. I want to make the most of every opportunity I have, especially to travel. Even if it isn't very far, there's something unique about every place and that's worth exploring. I don't believe that there's such a thing as boredom. There's so much to do and see and read and try and learn and watch! “We're all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love each other but it doesn't. We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities, we are eaten up by nothing.” ― Charles Bukowski

Traveling to Mexico for 6 months starting October 18th
I've been a Couchsurfing member for many years now. Hosted thousands of people and surfed hundreds of places over the world for the last 10+ years. I'm a very adventures, easy-going and laid back person, who loves to travel, meet new people and explore new things! I've always believe we are in this life to enjoy it, feel it, live it, and not to complicate our life or be afraid of what others might say or how they may judge you. I'm always looking for a good adventure; it might be around the corner, or half way around the world, I'm in! I'll have a good time, all the time!!! Carpe Diem!

Hello! Hola! Salut! Olá! I'm a curious person trying to explore the world, looking for inner peace. I look forward to meeting nice and open-minded people. I keep my place clean, organized and I don't make much noise. I remove my shoes at the entrance to not dirty the floor. If our paths cross, I'd be glad to have a chat or go out. My slogan since 2022: I don't want anything from anyone.
Hi everyone! I’m Jay from Udaipur, India, but I moved to Canada in April 2022. My door is open to travelers from all over the world—no racism, no discrimination here! I don’t care what your political views are—as long as you’re respectful and open-minded. But if you’re into cancel culture, can’t handle differing opinions, or bring far-right or radically woke rhetoric into the mix, please don’t send a request! Also, please don’t follow me on Instagram just to unfollow after your stay. I host real people, not temporary fans. I love to cook, so if you’re a foodie, you’re definitely in the right place. I’d be happy to show you around, share a bit of Indian culture, architecture, food, and the countryside lifestyle. Most importantly, I can offer insights into both sides of Indian values and culture. If you love memes, cats, dogs, and good music, you’re more than welcome! I’m also a fan of films by Christopher Nolan, Jim Carey, Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler, Imtiaz Ali, Farhan Akhtar, and, of course, Shah Rukh Khan!
Aspiring digital nomad, world traveler, real estate investor, and proud cat dad. We are here for a good time, not a long time. Hi! I’m Jake, a proud native of Buffalo, NY. I have been a Couchsurfer for many years now and have met so many great people because of it. I tend to get along with everyone, I thrive on meeting new people. My companion’s name is Captain. He’s a one-eyed tabby who is the bestest man in the whole wide galaxy. He’s super gentile and LOVES meeting new humanoids! Please be his friend!!
CURRENT MISSION To feel the pangs of life's inevitable losses, and to soothe those pangs by regularly embracing and celebrating new life, however it presents itself. ABOUT ME I am described by most who know me well as a lover of truth, beauty, and adventure (in both the inner and outer realms). I am a good listener, both willing and able to understand people from all different backgrounds. I have a great desire for diversity and stimulation, but in a more subdued, not hyper-stimulating way. I have a playful wit. PHILOSOPHY I believe that the purpose of life is to live purposefully. Currently, I believe my purpose is to cultivate compassion and rationality in every human interaction I have, and to be appreciatively receptive to the gifts that others have to offer me.
With a different way of thinking and the expectation of new adventures, I decided to move out from my home country and fully integrate into another culture. Meeting new people and learning new culture has always been something that makes me enthusiastic about. I'm a easy going person and usually pretty sociable. I think it is easy to have a fun and interesting conversation with me.
Love traveling, getting to know unique places and people, love reading, writing, hiking, food, music, film, dancing and good conversation. Love to meet great people doing good things for the world and I strive to do the same :)
Hey! I’m someone who really enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life. I'm curious, easygoing, and always up for a good conversation—whether it’s about travel, life, food, or just random stories that make us laugh. I work in tech, which keeps me busy and constantly learning, but outside of work I try to stay active and make the most of my free time. I’m into working out, running, biking, and pretty much anything outdoors—whether it’s hiking, exploring new places, or just soaking up some sun. I love the idea of cultural exchange and getting to know a place through its people. That’s a big part of why I’m on Couchsurfing—meeting locals or travelers I enjoy driving around to discover hidden gems, grabbing drinks at cozy bars, and saying yes to whatever fun plan comes up. Drinking is part of my social life—I enjoy it and love trying local beverages, but totally respect if someone prefers not to. I smoke occasionally, but only outside and never indoors. I’m not here just for free accommodation or hosting—I’m here for the people, the stories, and the shared moments that make travel meaningful.
Hey! I like to do things a little bit differently. consciously choose where i want to be. I was born on the East coast of Canada, from small lobster fishing town of 200 then to then progressed to living downtown Toronto. I always like to keep active, sports and kitesurfing, and into psychology and learning what makes people tick. With travelling, we love the change-over. Too long in one place and it sucks away your soul. But when you come back to your favourite places and old friends - it's like you've never skipped a beat, and you appreciate that life so much more. I like to experience new things, and to take our friends along for the ride. Love going out, and hitting festivals, Harvest Fest in Ontario is a favourite, will do Burning Man soon. Learned to sail last summer and spent way too much time partying a la boat. I have met many of my very good friends on couchsurfing! My philosophy is to continually grow through new experiences and travel is the best way to expand those perspectives. The journey is more important than the destination. No one should ever have time to be bored. But I strive for balance and to reflect and appreciate family, friends, and just being. Ultimately, choose the way you live!
