Too many to describe really... A few of them: - moving to Wales as a 17 year old to go to an international high school with 360 students from 70 different nationalities. - seeing the sun rise over the more than 2000 years old ruins of the ancient Mayan city Tikal in Guatemala. - taking the Transsiberian Railway on my own, without knowing Russian, Mongolian or Chinese. But managing fine, thanks to people's kindness and hospitality. - travelling by train across the US and in Europe - spending the summers in the North of Norway, watching the midnight sun and enjoying the fact that it never gets dark. - visiting Iran during the election campaign and the election day in 2009.
