CURRENT MISSION trying to settle down in scotland after a decade living abroad... we are a family of 3: myself, my lovely Chinese wife, Joy, and our even lovelier little girl Katie ABOUT ME i was brought up in a wee scottish town, and had only one ambition as a bairn...to live in a different way than all the people i knew. as soft-focus images of far off exotic places were replaced by actual experience of different places, i suppose i gradually realised that no far off cultures contain the truth of a better lifestyle...we are all contained in borders of our own imagination, and its these we should rail against. of course, the occasional coconut cocktail on a sun-drenched beach is not to be sniffed at! PHILOSOPHY im not convinced that there is an Ali who has experiences, thinks things, has emotions and makes decisions...homunculi anyone???
