I love to learn new things, hear ideas from others and spend time outdoors. Lately I have been participating in the "rat race" and completely chasing my tail. I'm ready to move on to the next step in my life and begin traveling, seeing new places and meeting others.

I am giving up the 9-5 life style in order to re-connect with myself and the planet. Instead of spending my days working and coming home to watch Netflix and repeat, I am choosing to travel around the area, meet others and re-connect. I feel isolated and disconnected lately and know what I need to do to change that.

I came to Arizona in 2000 in a rusty beat up pick-up with my then boyfriend, we lived and traveled in that for a bit and less than 7 years later, we purchased a home on 10 acres. I LOVED working on the property and participating in things like HelpExchange where others come to stay (similar to couchsurfing). Even though I am now divorced and no longer on the property, I am proud of the fact that we started off in a rusty pick-up!
