CURRENT MISSION On a mission to connect with people through cultural insight, positive energy, an open heart and a huge smile! ABOUT ME I am a trilingual human blend between Brazil, Denmark and Indonesia. Because of my mixed background, I have family living in Denmark, Brazil and Indonesia - so I developed a passion for travelling through my parents, as we would always be visiting family and other places when I was growing up! Now "grown up", I have backpacked independently in breaks between university and work: South America (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay) all over Western and Eastern Europe, Thailand, Indonesia, Zimbabwe. I work as a Project Coordinator at Sydney Opera House. I am also a TV presenter, currently working on an adventure travel series called “Great Walks of the World”. I aim to inspire audiences to explore the world’s people, culture and nature through long-distance hiking. I co-host remote expeditions out in nature, ranging from 3 days to 3 weeks in duration. I am passionate about reinvigorating people's lives through cultural exploration, interaction and expression. Exploration is through travel (of course)! Being in a new and unknown environment gives me heightened sense of curiosity and excitement – it’s like being a kid again!! Interaction is about a true connection with people, be it with those from my own home town, or those I cross paths with through travel. Interaction helps me learn from the perspective of others, resulting in cultural open-mindedness and a heighted sense value in my life. Expression is about the release my emotions through physical movement. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to dance, both as a performer but also as a facilitator. Dance helps me to release mental blockages, refreshes my mind and soul. There is no right or wrong because body movement is like a fingerprint – it is unique to everyone :) I run dance/yoga/drumming weekend retreats in Sydney! I have a passion for: Learning languages - I speak Portuguese, Danish and French and want to keep learning more! Dancing - Salsa, Samba, Forro, Swing, Dancehall, dancing randomly with buskers .. anything! Making cool videos of fun adventures Music - listening, swapping, playing, dancing to it! Learning about new cultures Connecting with nature, especially the ocean Meeting interesting and creative people...
