I have been living in Alaska since 2008. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, biking, kayaking and am busy learning all of the above. I like people from all walks of life and love to learn more about what they enjoy and where they live. I am starting to get the itch to move on to a new destination, my new dream home is a yurt or a sailboat, not to find the when, where and how. I have hosted 4 guests from 2 countries.

I am a believer that there are only friends in the world that I have yet to meet. We all have our differences and deserve to be respected for them. My mission in life is to connect with others from many different cultures, countries and backgrounds and learn more about how we are similar than different. Though I have not travelled extensively I am excited about the possibilities of meeting you as a visitor, host or hanging out. Join me in welcoming the world into our homes.

One of the most amazing things I have ever done is support a lovely woman through her two year battle with breast cancer, she is not only a survivor but a woman that is thriving in her life. I am the father of 4 grown kids living in Boston and Iowa. I have been a coach and mentor to young people and am living my life in the most beautiful part of the United States.
