Realistic, practical and sensible. Young-at heart, younger in looks. Integrity and honesty mean a lot to me. PHILOSOPHY Life should never be meant for 'busting and fighting' and accumulating of wealth and power and promoting one's religious ideologies. If only John Lennon's "Imagine" could be a reality, how peaceful the world would be!! Would like to believe all the talks about Heaven and Hell and God, but have not been convinced of their existence yet. You can say I'm a atheist or a free-thinker or a non-believer. What I believe is that Life should be meant to be lived unselfishly, honestly, happily and peacefully.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE A negative aspect of hosting is that, some CSers choose to take for granted the hospitality they have received. A few CSers in the past had not even given a reference. (If you have been hosted, you are expected to write your reference first.)

Prefer the classics, especially the musicals - films with songs and dance - from Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers' movies to films with Rogers/Hammerstein's scores (King and I, South Pacific) to A.Llyod-Webber musicals (Phantom of the Opera, Cats) + Lawrence of Arabia, Ben Hur + comedies - with Hugh Grant or Robin Williams. Films with too much CGIs just don't appeal to me. Music - Beatles, Dylan, J.Taylor, J.Baez, Carole King, Ray Charles, Billy Joel, L.Minnelli, Rod Stewart, Cilla Black, The Seekers, Don Mclean, Dusty Springfield. Gilbert O'Sullivan. Books - with espionage theme or satire.

Hope to have more time for the outdoors (trekking, mountain climbing, rafting, swimming) which I used to enjoy. I hope that people I've hosted will in turn host me when I visit their city. Current main interest is to travel and to find a balance in life. (If you're browsing through my photos, they have all been badly mixed up and many cannot be viewed individually. Before the CoVid pandemic, all my photos were arranged methodically with a caption for each photo. When CS admin. made changes after the pandemic, I noticed all my photos have been messed up. Bery regretful!!)
