I appreciate movies, music, and books in all their many forms. I read as much as time allows because in my profession I spend a lot of time drawing and making things. I play (or dabble in) piano and guitar, and often take my guitar with me on my long-term stints abroad. I always enjoy discovering music from different cultures and languages. If you are not careful you could send me on a tangent singing Quebec rap, Italian jazz, French pop, Dutch oldies, or Swahili gospel music. Warning: Some people enjoy my singing, others do not.

I have had the privilege to call many places home and have actually lived in more places than I have visited. I can say I know the streets and flavours of Rome, the shore and life of Lausanne, the street corners of Brignoles, and the mazes and markets of Kampala. I have so many stories and experiences from these places: a night hitting bars with Italians, a day skiing the peaks at Verbier, learning a traditional folk dance to the sound of a galoubet, sitting on the back of a boda that is driving through a herd of cattle, the list goes on! And of course I always have amazing things to share about Canada!
