CURRENT MISSION I should be out there, seeing the world. Life is short and it's now or never. Finding an interesting place might even make me want to move and work there. No journey without my Skateboard though! ABOUT ME Charming, intelligent, multi-linqual, ...uh... pavonine?! My nickname is GATO, the spanish word for cat. That pretty much says all :-D PHILOSOPHY I'm into buddhism and thus I try to be attentive, compassionate and calm. It works out for me and I really cherish my lucky life. I believe that the best way to set one's head right, to get yourself down to earth, is travelling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Smoothly. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have kicked off my couch-surfing career this year and I love it.. It was not such a big first step, because I crashed so many times before on couches worldwide while being on tour with my skater-buddies. I conquested my first couch in Thailand, partied with couch-surfers in Singapore and Düsseldorf, finally hosted for the first time at my place - and met a bunch of cool, lovely and interesting people on the way.

Travelling has given me the rarest, strangest most intense moments... ... a hawk stole my burger in Kyoto, when I was just trying to bite into it. ... in Vietnam I was invited into a house with literally no walls. I slept on a bed (more of a bench) while the pets and chickens ran below me, and there was a population of bees resting right in the "living room". Actually totally calm, and seen as a sign of "good luck". ... in Ecuador I smoked a banana-leaf joint with a shaman as part of a "limpieza"-ritual ... so many great times with my global skateboarder family
