ABOUT ME Open-minded, easy-going, interested in all kinds of arts from literature to photography, from classic to contemporary... Love travelling - but spending 2 hours locked up with a guide in a tourist bus is not my idea of travelling. Sharing life stories, funny moments and engaging in half-philosophical discussions with a local person over a cup of coffee/a glass of wine... sounds much better! Exploring new places on foot, riding a bike in the wilderness, learning secret family recipes from a local breadbaker, having freedom to ignore souvenir shops but to stop by an old house to appreciate the sun beams playing on the windows... I hope that pretty much explains me generally :-)

African kids jumping with delight when they saw falling snow for the first time in their lives - the first snow in Moscow in late November. Overhearing a pianist rehearsing in an empty crypt of one of the churches in Vienna. El Teide sleeping volcano. St Moses mount in Sinai. Cape Cod Railtrail bike riding. But the most amazings things I've seen are not really things - they are actually people, wonderful people I've met on my way.
