CURRENT MISSION To pursuit happiness ABOUT ME I'm an ecclectic viking with way too many personalities to list in a description like this. Try me. I'm curious and loving, and I consider everything something of possible interest. I'm not a happy-go-lucky type of person, and I tend to see the dark sides of life, but I also have the ability to laugh about it. To travel is to live, but while away is good, there's nothing like home. Home for me includes all of Scandinavia, including Iceland, my soul sanctuary, where I live. PHILOSOPHY I mostly live by the nordic ásatrú philosophy. Respect nature, respect your fellow man, but don´t just turn the other cheek. Treat others like you want to be treated.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far, so good! I've hosted 5 people through the CS community this far, and all were very nice and respectful, and we had a good time. I have met and hosted many others through the years in other settings than CS though and generally have good experiences. I have I'm more of the "host kind of person" than the surfing kind myself, but I am always interested in meeting likeminded and interesting people and locals whereever I go.

Goodness there are so many, can't even start to list them here... I'll give it a shot. Movies: LOTR trilogy is my ultimate favorite. Genres I like include: action, sci-fi, fantasy, thriller, gore, crime, non-english, alternative. Books: I don't think I have a favorite book, but I enjoy thrillers, I enjoy Middle Eastern literature and I enjoy social dramas. Music: Metal (mostly black, death, folk, heavy, symphonic), Scandinavian folk musik, Persian folk music, Celtic, Classical.
