I have to admit Skrjabin and Rachmaninoff are the most incredible piano composers I ve ever heard; - guitar geniuses (Allan Holdsworth, Shawn Lane mainly, plus Daniele Gottardo) I have a deep admiration for Shawn Lane because even though his career was not as long or as proliphic as some others famous guitar player he wrote the best guitar that was ever record (One note at a time for example) he was simply an incredible human being (gone too soon) - indie music Tiger Lou, Sufjan Steven, Bon Iver, Chris Careebba and Dashboard Confessional, - heavy metal...tons but mainly Chuck Schuldiner... books Emanuele Severino (but from the book La Gloria I am not able to follow his philosophical Journey)
