ABOUT ME Never stepped foot on a plane until 19 yrs old. Never left country until 30 yrs old Have made up for lost time. Feel most alive when not in the states and when surround by non-natives. Hospitality is in my blood as is my passion to explore the world and it's cultures. Am happiest when flying, swimming or snowboarding. I do quite well with those who English is a second language. Having taught abroad I understand and communicate well across cultures. I also know some American Sign Language.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Recently moved to Boise after I living in the absolute heart of Boston's Back Bay where I walked to everything. Summers weekends on Martha's Vineyard so can help with info about MVY and the Cape too. Now enjoying the Pacific Northwestern city of Boise.

Mass with the Pope, Got out of Taiwan and into Singapore without a Passport, Opened a 1st American University in former Yugoslavia - a non-country run by the UN..., Paid "cash" for a plane ticket in 4 different currencies just 5 minutes before a flight, created an exchange program between US and Kosovo, dove with sharks, escaped death numerous times, had my heart broken and lived through it, drove through Albania and "dodged" AK47s, waterskiied in the busiest port in the world.. so many stories...
