My partner Alex (pictured in a few of my photos) and I have lived in Oakland for about 2 years now. We're working to be debt-free in order to travel. We enjoy outdoor sports/anything active. On a weekend night, you'll find us listening to live music or playing board games with some good wine. We're excited to host you no matter who you are, where you come from, or what you believe. Our doors are open to all.

I speak rudimentary Russian and French-- I would like to expand these skills. I love cooking and am always ready to learn how to cook a new cuisine. I'm also a sommelier in training (passed my level 1) and love talking wine. Alex constantly has a beat in his mind and would like to provide rhythm to anyone willing to jam. He also has a passion for bioengineering, innovation, and green tech. Originally from Moscow, he enjoys sharing old and discovering new traditions from around the world.
