CURRENT MISSION To fit as much as possible into this life! ABOUT ME I started my life in England and moved to Tasmania with my family quite a while ago now! Have lived here now for over 40 years with time out for travelling, working overseas and around Australia. I spend a lot of time out of doors, love animals and relish new experiences and challenges. PHILOSOPHY Try everything once....... Experience as much as possible...... There's just not going to be enough time in this life!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Would like to host visitors to Hobart and hope to access people in other places to visit myself as well. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far - most have been varying degrees of good! There have been a couple of people I'd rather not meet again, but then again, that's the same with just about everything in life.

Most of my travel experiences are unforgettable but the 10 day dog sledding trip round Scoresby Sund, East Greenland, has been the most incredible adventure that I have ever been a part of. The Inuit hunters and their dogs are indelibly imprinted in my brain, along with the Northern Lights, the snow, the ice, the cold and wonderful scenery. Whatever made me want to do it? Would I do it again?
