我为什么使用Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Offering and sleeping on couches. I mostly have people visit. I don't live anywhere 'on the map' so I don't get many people coming through but enjoy meeting new people when they decide to come to my out of the way part of the world.

Music is a bit of everything and I'm always interested to be introduced to new music. I love me a bit of folk. Movies are also a mishmash although I do have a strange fondness for 80s fantasy. Books are my passion and I'm one of those people who can't pass a second hand bookshop without getting sucked inside. I've got lots of favourites and what I want to read changes with the week and the weather. I am a researcher in the early gothic though which is a good indication of one of my main areas of interest. I also love Anne Beale so if anyone else has heard of their - I'd love to meet you!

I haven't made it to amazing yet but I've had plenty of misadventures - getting chased over Russian snow piles by wild dogs, accidentally climbing Ben Cleugh with only a lettuce and some water on me (a ridiculous story) and getting confused for a homeless wanderer by numerous churches in America when backpacking. And that is (sadly) only a few of the barrage of stories which make me look like a world class muppet.

I can share some good cooking and info on the nice walks around where I live. I also have a library which people are more than welcome to use! I'm happy to help anyone with English/Spanish/Russian or Gothic literature... in fact you'll have difficulty shutting me up if you make the mistake of asking!
