Ever seen the movie "little miss sunshine" yeah well that was my family when i was 5. We went on a 3 month trip around the perimeter of N. America in a VW van. check out (one of the many!!) amazingly cool and very true stories my dad wrote up about that adventure~ Donuts & Auto Parts: http://www.faithstoriesonline.com/story-links/donuts-auto-parts.htm I spent 8 months on a hospital ship that sailed from europe to west africa when i was 18 (www.mercyships.com) First 2 weeks I spent in Guatemala there was an earthquake, volcanic eruption and tropical storm Agatha...not to mention many, many landslides!
