CURRENT MISSION Enjoy life to the fullest. ABOUT ME My name is Anne. I'm an open-minded person, who likes to exchange experiences with other people. I want to keep exploring the world. I prefer nature and wilderness over bustling cities in the long run and I like to walk less known and new paths. ABOUT US We are a family of three with my child (born in 2017) and my partner. We live in a house with small farm in a tiny village in Landkreis-Oder Spree in Brandenburg, Germany, since August 2019. We have several animals - horses, cats, turkeys, chicken - and are extending our vegetable garden and fruit tree area bit by bit. We weren't travelling much in the past years but hope to do so much more again in the future. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Surfing and Hosting COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I surfed some couches in China. It was a great experience and I am looking forward to more surfing in the future.

I'm addicted to Harry Potter, since I kind of grew up with these books. In general anything interesting, with a story behind it, preferably more on the complex side, with good language and non-predictable storylines can get me excited about reading or watching it.

Riding out bareback almost without any tack in the snowy forest and bright sunlight near my hometown. First time outdoor climbing - Which reminded me that I should still be careful not to look down, because I'm not too much into hights. Swimming in a ice cold stream once in the U.S. and in Germany - thinking I could never move a limb again and feeling an extreme closeness to nature.

Mostly anything! I especially like to learn the languages of the the countries I'm visiting - at least some basic expressions, since I have always made the experience that this opens locals' doors and hearts. I would also like to teach/ share German or just talk in any of the other languages I'm learning.

My personal interest are sports like horseback riding, hiking, skating, canoeing, swimming... You can also easily get me enthusiastic about many other sports. In general I'm a nature guy, who spends as much time as possible oudoors. I love traveling, languages and cultures. On calm days I like to read and write, listen to music, watch a good movie or just hang out with family and friends.
