CURRENT MISSION Be good and kind. ABOUT ME 35 years old. I grew up here in Houston and after having been gone for awhile, I'm back. I work full time as a Technical Director for a live theatre. Love to travel, love to meet people. I'm about as laid back as you can get. Kindness is important to me. I'm somewhat of a musician. Banjo, bass fiddle, guitar, etc. I'm in love with Texas. All parts of it. And I love to share my enthusiasm with the uninitiated. PHILOSOPHY To live is to love. To love is to serve.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING My house is open. Anyone is welcome. It's important to me to stretch a hand out to people and learn as much as I can. I have a guest bedroom with a double bed. A couch and a love seat. An inflatable mattress and a bunch of floor space you're welcome to stretch out on. I also have a washer and dryer to clean your rags with that you're welcome to use.

Music. Few things are better. I like to listen, to play, to write. I've played in a couple of bluegrass bands in Austin and miss them terribly. If you can play anything, we can have fun together. I'm also a voracious movie hound, sports fan (especially baseball; maybe we can take in an Astros game while you're in town), food lover, etc. I'm an adventurous diner, but I really love the Texas favorites: barbecue, chicken fried steak, Tex-Mex, etc.
