Let's be honest: when I started couchsurfing, I was young and broke. Free = for me. But I kept couchsurfing because traveling is hard, and having a local friend, even for a few days, means so much. Couchsurfing isn't the biggest part of my life (it comes and goes depending on my ability to surf and/or host), but I've been doing it for 10+ years now, and the amount of positive CS memories I have is amazing.

Music: I like a lot of stuff (jam, funk, indie, classic rock, jazz, hip hop, electronic, etc.) If you can't dance to it, is it really music? Alberto Giacometti. I like to think I'm nearing the 1% when it comes to museum patronage...
