I love travelling. I've been an exchange student in the US and Canada, to learn my languages. I've done several volunteering camps, in Lithuania, Croatia and Iceland. I love meeting other people and learning about other cultures. I like art and I'm studying to be a creative therapist. My husband and I have plenty of room to host people, but not really a bed, and we've got a big garden surrounded by fields. If you need some rest, it's the place to be. :) We both like listening to metal, rock, jazz and classical music, reading books, going out for a drink, going to concerts, eating (belgian!) fries and playing with our cats.

Karolien: Rock, metal, classical, jazz. Chopin and Eric Satie, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, Toots Tielemans, Led Zeppelin and Testament, and definitely Prince can rock my world. My favorite movie would be Amélie Poulin. I love reading fantasy, like Feist and Auel. But I can appreciate many books, like Dante, or a very simple relaxing book. Maarten/Metaal: I like listening to Sabaton, Iron Maiden, grind, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Dio. I can also appreciate Peer Gynt and Toots Tielemans. I'm a big fan of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. I mostly read fantasy, like Feist. And I love comic books, like Thorgal.
