A break dance battle in Kathmandu that gave the exact same family and community feel as break dance battles in Seattle; driving cattle home under Idaho's starry skies in a Subaru; climbing under a full moon.

I like listening to, playing, and dancing to music. Anything from bluegrass, silly improvisational kitchen bands, classical, break dancing to james brown, rocking out to 70s classics. I like genuine conversations and considering other points of view and ways of life. I am an outdoors enthusiast, and can often be found rock climbing or running on mountain trails. I like to work on interesting projects with interesting people -- at the moment in water policy and water science, in my past anthropologist role, I recorded folk music in the Himalaya.
