Hi. I'm Katie. I am a lover of nature, animals and being outside. Love going for hikes and exploring the natural beauty of new destinations. My hobbies include learning Spanish, ukulele, surfing, photography, walking, horse riding, mindfulness, meditation, music, reading, exploring new places and cultures getting to know new people and many many more. I get very excited by the prospect of learning new skills and often want to start new hobbies. I like to think I am a kind, honest and a bit quirky. Bit of a hippie at heart. Care for the environment and doing the best for people and animals. I love to meet new people but I'm generally more into small group socialising than big parties any more (although on occasion I do love a party).

I'm looking forward to meeting locals at the destinations I visit. (Although I love to meet other travellers also) sometimes when you travels and stay in hostels you can find you never actually meet people front eh place that you are visiting. I love to find out the culture, and those cool 'have to know' spots that only true locals know.

Favourite song ever Tina turner proud Mary. A lot of the books i read are animal related but a couple of books that stood out in my memory are the thin red line and the book theif. I'm not a real movie buff but donenjoy a good comedy or gripping drama, not so into horror films as they scare me!

I'm traveling the world with my small travel ukulele and would love to teach a few easy chords and get you loving the ukulele as much as I do. I'm not a natural performerbas I get quite nervous but if you would like to hear a song or two as your guest I would be much obliging. (I do take requests if you give me enough time to learn it)
