I'm Katie. I like to draw dinosaurs, send postcards, and eat Thai food. I make jewelry in a basement dungeon studio and am trying to get a business off the ground. I love adventures and exploring new places, and I love to be outside. I enjoy solitude as much as good company. I am easily humored and don't take myself too seriously. Surfers please read my whole house description! I do not live in the city, nor anywhere close to public transportation. If you are visiting during winter, you need a car with four wheel drive or snow tires to get up my driveway.

I climbed my first big peak (South Teton, 12500 ft, WY) with my dad. I had come from sea level only a few days before, so I had altitude sickness the whole way up. It took us 14 hours total, but the feeling I got sitting at the top was unlike anything I've ever felt before. I couldn't really walk for a few days afterward, but I also couldn't get the smile off my face.
