Looking to meet people to exchange travel stories and find great local food. I lived in Manchester in the UK, where I hosted in the past but unable to currently. In 2017 I did a cycle tour traveling from Manchester in the UK, through France, Belgium, Spain and finishing in Marrakech in Morocco. Couchsurfing was a great way to meet locals as I passed through places. PHILOSOPHY Take as many opportunities as you can in life, you never know where they will lead you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I like to be a hands on host, and spend time with the people visiting and take them round the city. I don't see it as a free place to stay, but a way to gain local knowledge and make friends around the world. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Have hosted on several occasions, and surfed in France, Belgium, Spain and Germany.
