CURRENT MISSION To keep my heart open to all the energies and beings of the world. ABOUT ME I'm a very positive person who enjoys interacting with all sorts of people in any situation. I'm very open, respectful, and friendly, I love discussions, books, movies, poetry. I'm very connected to nature. I really enjoy languages, and can quickly pick up small bits and good accents of new languages, though I have trouble becoming fluent, sadly. I'm a passionate writer, and I've been riding horses since I was 4 years old. My mother is from Athens and I've been to Greece twice, but only as a small child of 4 and 8. In 2009 I visited Austria and the small German town of Tuebingen. I moved a lot in my childhood, so I have experienced much of the United States. My wander lust spans the world at large :) PHILOSOPHY "Have fun in the world!" -How I plan to raise my kids "There are no rules in brodzeit"

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I spent a week in Austria at the beginning of April 2009, and my friend Tina and I couchsurfed in all three cities we visited (Vienna, Graz, and Salzburg). We met such wonderful people along the way and had so much fun! I still talk to my new Austrian buddies that I wouldn't have met without CS, and I was so captivated by the graciousness of my hosts that I invested in an inflatable mattress when I returned to California so I can do more than just surf myself, and I've hosted one person so far and we had a blast! I can't wait to continue my global exploration with the help of CS! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I was more of a host when it came to the unofficial couch surfing of my lifetime. I host a lot of Southern California friends passing through San Francisco, or just friends that need a place in the city to crash. I'll need to continue utilizing my surfing skills these days, both in further exploration of other countries and on a trip I hope to take up to Oregon via Humboldt by hitch hiking.
音乐、电影与书籍
wayyyy too many to name as far as music in particular, but some of the people who make me proud to be a writer and eager to pick up a pen are jack kerouac, dr. hunter s. thompson, gregory corso, allen ginsburg, david sedaris, aldous huxley, charles bukowski, george orwell, and other great livers of life and lovers of words.
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
I don't know what counts as amazing to people. I'm proud of small accomplishments in my life, like interviewing Gavin Newsom, Kerri Walsh, Jackie Speier, and Ben Fong-Torres, and jumping a horse over an obstacle with no reins or stirrups. I've seen wild elk graze in my backyard as a child in Colorado, and I've experienced a sacred serenity and joy in the adoption of a child by a loving parent while writing an article for a newspaper.
教学、学习、分享
One of the satoris I had in Austria lately: when something happens and your immediate reaction is to be angry about it, stop and think "how else can I respond to this situation?". Find a more positive, useful, and progressive way of thinking about the occurence, and not only will you likely find a peaceful solution more quickly, but you'll also continue exuding positive energy into your immediate universe :)
