CURRENT MISSION Trail Building all day...finding some time for exploring. Want to do a long hike soon! ABOUT ME I have lived in/near the Whiteaker neighborhood since March 2005 here in Eugene and I love it. I was born and raised in Oregon and I think it is the greatest place on earth but there is nothing I enjoy more than traveling and seeing other places. I am primarily work as a trail builder/wilderness construction. I will sometimes do wildland fire fighting, habitat restoration, and tree planting. Sometimes I am unemployed and get to explore or just work on my house I have traveled all over the states by the power of my thumb and have had many aMAZing experiences! I love to meet fellow travelers....especially ones that choose to do so in a less conventional manner! PHILOSOPHY Don't wander around the house like a sewing machine that's just finished sewing a turd to a garbage can lid! It wont get you anywhere! Coffee makes it worth getting out of bed! My dog Zinc is my BFF.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am adding myself to this amazing community of people with a positive attitude! I have been pretty much absent from the CS community since 2010. hoping to get back into it at some point COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have couch surfed all over the place and had a great time meeting all walks of life doing it. Lots of my Couch Surfing experience has been not through the website, just kind people offering me a place to crash while traveling. Dec. 2006: Okay so my CSing experience is official now...myself and 5 others CSed all over the northwest for two weeks and had a blast doing it. We made some great friends and had some amazing experiences. Thanks Eric, Greg, Charlie, Geraldo, and Rebecca...you were all amazing hosts..thanks for being so brave to take on 6 of us!!!! I have many odd skillz I can share with all such as juggling, unicycling, diabolo and whips....I have extensive knowledge of cool things to do in Oregon , know alot about hitchhiking, beer, climbing trees, being kind, wildland firefighting, plant ID, tree planting, and habitat restoration. I am always down to learn new skillz/languages/ways of thought/etc.
