Looking out the plane as it was landing in Egypt, realizing I am going to be spending a year of my life there. Crossing the Jordan/Syrian border after hours of waiting and hoping...and joking with the guards. Crossing the border from Israel to the Palestine, and realizing the meaning of this giant concrete wall.

Often the simple things. Sometimes to the dark humor things. I am very interested in world politics, that is also what I am studying right now. Even though my path is to become a diplomat, I am not sure that is still what I desire, as bureaucracy tends to frustrate me. I enjoy going to concerts, the beach, working out, grabbing drinks with friends, and dancing the night away on the weekends. I am a big fan of cooking, and trying new restaurants. I love whiskey.
