I've got a great thing going-- a job I adore that allows me to travel & do good in the world, a healthy body, fantastic husband, wonderful friends and family, a myriad of challenges that keep me humble and happy.

It opened up my world years ago and taught me about trusting people. If it weren't for the fact that I have young kids and a baby on the way, I'd still be hosting. Although I can't host, and am not surfing any longer, I hope I can be a resource for those visiting Salt Lake. Pay it forward & help folks have a good time in this rad state.

I've lived in the Arizona desert with just a canteen, knife, tarp and map for weeks at a time. I starved eating just juniper berries, spent most my day trying to start a fire, and froze at night until I couldn't take it anymore. Nonetheless, it was still amazing. I highly recommend it.
