CURRENT MISSION To travel as much as the world as possible, spending time on each continent immersing myself in the different cultures and landscapes, learning what people & the world are all about, all with a smile on my face :-) ABOUT ME I love travelling! I love the people you meet - locals & other travellers alike, & the friendships you forge. I love experiencing different cultures, I love the incredible experiences you have & the crazy things you do, which are so different from life back home. There's a freedom in travelling which I don't think can be found anywhere else. It's quite special. My family & friends are a big part of my life. Without them, what do you really have? I love sport & getting amongst nature. I enjoy watching & playing most sports, especially football (soccer), surfing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, etc, etc. I love being by the ocean and the mountains. I am passionate about what I do!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I surf & I welcome my couch to be surfed! I always try to put fellow travellers in touch with my friends to show them around/meet up when I am not going to be around. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My first ever c/s host Lucas from Salta, Argentina welcomed me to his hometown with a big hug and a smile at the bus station after I arrived off a night bus. We got along famously and really enjoyed each other's company. We are still in touch to this day. I also stayed in a tiny one bedroom apartment in Rio, Brasil during the World Cup in 2014. There were about 8 couchsurfers all crammed into this small space. We cooked meals and hung out together and all really enjoyed the experience!

I enjoy listening to all types of music and discovering new music from all over the world. A few personal favourites that come to mind are Coldplay, Foo Fighters, AC/DC, Kings of Leon, The Killers, The Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, The Eagles, Beastie Boys, & Cold Chisel.

Morocco - Surfed a beautiful beach break with the sun setting on the ocean horizon & only my new travel buddy and I in the water enjoying the moment together! Bolivia - Climbed the glaciated 6088m Huayna Potosi Canada & Alaska - Scrambled to the summit of 50+ peaks of varying difficulty within the Rockies & various ranges in Alaska including plenty of solo ascents

I always take my visiting friends to my local beaches and show them how to surf if they're up for it! I also loved exploring the mountains around Whistler & Banff, Canada with new & old friends alike during my three years living there. I always enjoy learning about and immersing myself in different cultures, swapping travel stories and life experiences with others

I can share with my hosts a big smile, plenty of fun living in the moment, and a positive attitude! I enjoy sharing my travel stories and experiences from the many different parts of the world that I have travelled. I will share my passion for travel, my culture, interesting conversation, and no doubt many laughs over a few beers & some great local food! :-) Footnote: I am also more than happy to share my washing up skills that all of my hosts are very impressed with! ;-)

I love being outside and active! I'm always out hiking, climbing mountains, mountain biking, backpacking, snowboarding, surfing,etc, etc I love playing and watching sports, travelling, meeting new people, the beach, the mountains, socialising with like minded people over a few beers, and spending time with fun & good natured people!
