CURRENT MISSION I am currently traveling west until I get back home to New Jersey. I don't know how long it is going to take me, but I am looking to extend my travels as long as possible. ABOUT ME I am in my mid to late twenties and enjoying a traveling life style while I still can. I am interested in broadening my cultural horizons and open to new experiences. I like to listen to music, read, write, eat, hike, sightsee, and generally enjoy life. I left a career in corporate America in 2011 to lead a more fulfilling life, and so far it has been going great. PHILOSOPHY I am not a very religious person, but I would describe myself as spiritual. I do not claim to know how the universe works, but I hold the believe that we are all inexorably connected and meant to love one another. When my father passed, I came to realize that the pursuit of wealth was not a fulfilling lifestyle and have been spending my time in pursuit of another.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have done some hosting while living in Australia, but mostly I have just been to events and met up with locals for a look around the city. I am living in a hostel at the moment, so I'm not really in a position to host, but once I get my own place I am sure to be hosting! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Everything has been good. The only problem that I have had with CS is when people cancel plans last minute or suddenly become unreachable, but more than 9 times out of 10 it has been a lovely type of experience.

Driving across the United States has allowed me to see some of the most wonderful natural beauty. A friend and I took 5 weeks and saw many great things, such as the Grand Canyon. Also, I was able to visit many great cities and meet a lot of great people on the way. I am more than half way towards my goal of seeing all 50 US States, and I would like to reach every continent, including Antarctica, before my time on this Earth is finished, be that when I die or get a chance to go into space!

I have a good deal of experience in management and efficiency improvement. After working at a delivery company for five years, I know a few tricks on how to pack things up and on planning the best routes from place to place. I am willing to teach English to folks who do not have an excellent grasp on the language, and am fairly knowledgable about American history. I have also studying Qi Gong and Tai Chi for several months and am more than willing to teach any other couch surfers basic health and wellness exercise sets.

I like to travel. However, I am not so interested in the type of traveling that only puts me in one place for a few nights. I much prefer to live in an area for a few months to really get a feel for the people, the culture, and the way of life. I also like music and to party, but then again who doesn't. I am interested in language, politics, and economics. Also ancient cultures and arts.
