CURRENT MISSION Travelling, observing, learning, making friends, sharing ABOUT ME We are a couple, Margherita, Italian, 29 years old and Nick, Australian, 34 years old. We have been married for 5 years. We met in London nearly 8 years ago, and we have been travelling since July 2009. We visited South America, Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and India. We moved to Milano in February 2011, after over a year on the road, at the moment we are working on our travel writing and photography business. However, travelling is far from over for us! We travelled overland between Milano and Georgia between July and September 2011, and in summer 2012 we went to Mongolia and China. We see travelling as an important and enriching life experience, and we would like to share this passion with the rest of the world. PHILOSOPHY We love travelling, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Hosting and surfing. We love the couchsurfing spirit, we like sharing and learning from our guests and hosts. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Always great. We had amazing experiences, from the first time in Thailand with Tyler to the last one in China, also we couchsurfed in Italy several time and made good friends. Now we have the opportunity to host we are really looking forward to having guests!

Margherita: Movies anything by Ingmar Bergman, Hitchcock, more recently Wong Kar Wai and Kusturica. Books: travel literature, Latin American and Russian classics. Music: 60-70's rock, world music.

Visiting Ladakh, doing the Inca Trail to Macchu Picchu, visiting the Galapagos Islands, spending 5 nights in the Amazon Jungle, trekking in the magical Svaneti region of Georgia, sleeping in front of the Tigris river in Hasankeyf, visiting nomads in Mongolia... we love anything which involves nature and the outdoors.

Margherita: I can offer my language skills, I am a native Italian speaker and I speak fluent English and Spanish, as well as decent Portuguese. I can offer help if anybody needs translations or anything else involving languages. I am also a keen cook and I make a good risotto and lasagne.
我的兴趣
My husband Nick is a photographer, especially interested in wildlife and travel. I (Margherita) am aspiring to become a travel writer, at the moment I am working as an English teacher. Besides travelling, we're interested in food, cultures and religions. We've also recently started diving and we absolutely loved the experience.
