CURRENT MISSION I am trying to create as many new experiences for myself as possible. ABOUT ME I am an adventurous, fun-loving guy who loves to experience new things. I realize opening your house to a complete stranger is no easy task, so I try to be as courteous and respectful as I can be. I don't smoke, but love a good beer/glass of wine, and won't be showing up to your place late at night wasted and making a lot of noise! I try to find ways to make myself laugh/smile as much as possible. I LOVE music. I can't really think where my life would be without it. I have music to thank for a ton of truly amazing friendships and for getting me through some hard times. I also enjoy being outdoors and relaxing in my hammock. Oh yeah.. in case it matters, NO I didn't vote for Trump.. in fact he's part of the reason why I really started traveling ;) PHILOSOPHY Life's too short, don't waste it! Don't be afraid to leave your comfort zone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE The experiences I have had with couch-surfing have been amazing! I think being able to share stories, experiences, and worldviews is what makes travelling so fascinating and necessary. I am now on a quest to expand my knowledge of other cultures, and the best way to do that is by spending time with the local people.

Movies: Pretty much all Wes Anderson movies, Big Lebowski, don't really know any 'newer' movies.. Music: Music is my life! I like pretty much everything, with a few exceptions, but some of my favorites are : My Morning Jacket, Greensky Bluegrass, Tame Impala, Dr Dog, anything funky... I'm always looking for new music! Books: Trying to spend more time reading and less time on social media. Big fan of Murakami, and usually prefer fiction over non-fiction, but would love some suggestions!
