CURRENT MISSION I am now spending my last month and a half in the UK/Ireland before heading back to Australia in December....exciting! ABOUT ME Hi! My names Amelia. I am curently on my 2 year working VISA from Australia. I would love to enrich my travels by meeting more locals and really being part of wherever I am!! Best part about travelling for me is meeting people and enjoing experiences with them!! Love cooking and eating, and trying food from other countries. (so far had the best spaghetti marinara in Rome, Scallops in Brest, and snitty in Germany) Im not a huge party animal but love a good pub and having a few drinks with new people. (red wine is always a winner) Overall, im pretty easy to get along with, love listening and chatting to people. Love Road tripping, love being out and about but also love chilling and listening to music PHILOSOPHY I believe that we are each on our own journeys and that when we face a challenge there is something to learn from it. If I am going through something tough in life i always know i will come out on the other side better for it! Like trying to guess peoples Star signs....it can be a really fun game! Today, let go of what is finished....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Ive hosted alot of surfers in Edinburgh and couch surfed a couple of times as well....its a great experience and I wouldnt have made many of the friends I now have if it wasnt for couch surfing COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Dressing up as a granny for My lovely couch host, Lizzys, flat warming! Go Lizzy!!!

Finding novels in charity shops is my new thing, am reading Bridgette Jones Diary atm (very serious stuff) and have the Bell jar to read after that! TV shows i like are location location location (ha!! funny that i like it but i really do) super nanny and wife swap are my guilty pleasures. The Office, kath n kim, nighty night, family guy, scrubs.....

Sky diving tops the list for me. Most amazing feeling and such a rush!! Climbed a volcano in New Zealand! (the amazing part was that we did it in thongs/flip flops/jandals) while everyone else had hiking boots.
