I've been hosted in the United states. Japan. Turkey and I've hosted friends coming from Japan. Indonesia. Australia. Canada. These experiences were not through Couch surfing or my Couch surfing account, but I am so impressed by them. I would like to keep meeting friends from other cultures, that's the reason why I start to use Couch surfing.
