-reading fiction and sometimes nonfiction -biking (the Netherlands is the ideal place for it) -hiking -playing volleyball (I am part of a great team and it is so much fun) -exploring new things (whether it is a language, a place or just a piece of information etc.) -politics -connecting with people; this might not sound like an interest but I value meaningful encounters, deep, substantial conversations and genuine social interaction even if it is short term or momentary
