I gave birth at home with only my partner; that was an exhilarating and empowering experience beyond all description (though I have written about it, if you're interested.) All the mountains in Oslo, Norway - the view was indescribable. We rode a trolley-type car up the side of a mountain, the steepest climb I've ever traveled. I was scared shitless that the car would come loose from the seemingly feeble cable it was attached to, but we survived. I stared at that landscape for an hour. It's the first view that ever made me cry, honestly. I could see all of Norway, and I'm told parts of Sweden. I went to New Orleans in Louisiana, and I met some of the kindest and most hospitable people. In my experience, the people in the worst and most difficult living situations are often the nicest, most compassionate, generous, and hospitable people. It is when you have "little" that you realize you've got it all, and that it's all to share.

I like to climb things, like ropes and poles and walls and mountains and trees and hills and tall people. meditating. singing. PETTING LOS GATOS.
