我为什么使用Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I like hosting folks when I can, meeting up every now and then, and also surfing when I travel! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've always tried to welcome travellers to stay with me whenever we encountered each other. Also, the generosity and kindness I've found while travelling, myself, has been astounding! From hitchhike rides who offered their homes, to acquaintences who shared their lives, and so much more... For a few years I lived at an ecovillage that was also a wwoof farm, and I saw the amazing connections and growth (mutually!) that occurred with traveller interactions. I always want to be able to offer my home as a place for good people to stay... Since I found the cs website, I've hosted lots of great folks, as well as staying with and meeting people in different places. It's been great!

there was late, autumn afternoon when i was riding my bike across the dutch countryside, enraptured by its endless sky. i caught sight of a field covered in a thick carpeted tangle of interwoven spiderwebs. Infinite beads of water lit up the sun-kissed sparkling wonder, and in that moment I really and actually saw - for the first time - that anything is possible.

I like trees. Traveling! I looove people (some people). I like friends. Hot springs. Skiing! Swimming in cold rivers on hot days. Mmmmm... hot springs. Reading! Reading in the bath! Climbing aforementioned trees. I like beer, espcially oregon microbrews (mmm...). I love hitchhiking! Mud, and playing in it! I like... the world! I like campfires! Bicycles! Adventure! Books! Freight Trains! Dancing (mmm... live music... psytrance... jug bands...)! Making things! Cooking! Acordians and people who play them! Harvesting fresh organic vegetables outside on a clear, gorgeous autumn day! I like painting myself green and imagining that i can photosynthesize. I like imagining! I like imagining the collapse of a soul-stealing, heart-crunching, dream-wrenching, life-sucking, murderuous, exploitive, and ridiculously hierarchal (i HATE hierarchy) and coercive mechanism that we call "civilization." I like to play! Anarchy. Planting seeds! (of the actual and metaphorical varieties) I like... sleeping. More than that, I enjoy being awake! I like...
