CURRENT MISSION I WANT ALL THE ART ABOUT ME I grew up in Sydney, but now I'm a Melbournite. I work freelance in the theatre as a director and dramaturg, and occasionally in a seafood restaurant to make ends meet. I'm gay, I'm a vegetarian, and pretty down to earth. Heading to the UK, Berlin and Istanbul in Jan/Feb 2014 to meet people make theatre and art in a different context. It'll be my first time over that side of the world, but I'm a good no-fuss traveller. Keen to meet locals, especially if you like art/theatre/culture/politics/food/good times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couch-surfed in Queensland with a whole range of different folk, which was pretty awesome. I've had one guy stay with me off this site - Robbie from Berlin, an awesome young guy who stayed on our fold out back in my Sydney home. Such a good laugh.

Seeing Antony Hegarty perform at the Sydney Opera House. Mind-blowing, awe-inspiring, mythic but totally human. I was sat in the front row, I could see his socks, he made so many mistakes but his voice and his majesty just takes you to the greatest heights. Watching the sunrise over Uluru, an incredible moment of connection to the indigenous heritage of the Australian landscape, transcending the colonial, awakening the spiritual. True beauty.
