CURRENT MISSION To learn Spanish, and get in adventures traveling through South America to Tierra del Fuego. ABOUT ME I want to keep learning as much as I can, even if I'm going to forget most of it. I studied history at university, but these days I find myself most interested in farming. I've kept journals for 16 years now, but only recently have I had the nerve to write stories. In Buenos Aires I taught English for a year, as I myself enjoy learning languages and communicating with people from other countries and I like to help others along the way. PHILOSOPHY Enjoy it while you can. Rock and roll! Whoo! Unless I'm tired.

These days I´m reading El General en su Laberinto by Marquez in Spanish, and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in English.

Hmmm... I liked watching an orange sun rounding the horizon for three days while driving a VW Bus through British Colombia and the Yukon. I'll never forget that. I won't forget drinking a bottle of Jaegermeister under the stars with an Austrian mountain climber, after a four hour night-hike up an active volcano off the coast of Sicily either (Stromboli).

I've got to have adventures, and to maintain a certain sense of wonder. I try not to be bound down by who I think I am, and try not to worry too much. It's important not to take yourself too seriously.

Practically everything except sports, but I most like to discuss the people, history and politics of the country I'm in. I love history, philosophy, anthropology, art history, and architecture. I love movies, all types of music as long as it's good, although classic rock would be my genre if I had to choose, trees, mountains, the desert and the ocean.
