Come visit Raleigh. I'll show you around! I am in a very transitional part of my life at the moment. When I was younger, I traveled for months at a time, exploring new countries on a crazy cheap budget. After finishing my masters in management, I am now working in hotel development. As a result, I don't get to travel as much, but every single chance I get, I am flying somewhere I haven't been before. So, even more than before, I take advantage of every location to see as much as I can and connect with people as much as I can. For me, the people and culture is more important than the sights and scenes of a new location. Spending one day in a city, eating a good meal, drinking good drinks, and having a great time with the locals, is actually experiencing more of the city than taking pictures of everything it offers. Just my two cents. NOTE: I can still be a tourist from time to time. I love photography and won't miss the opportunity when in a great location. I have traveled a lot so far, and have gotten the chance to live in a few different places on a few different continents. Here are some of the things i've been lucky enough to do so far: -Dove from a waterfall in the Dominican Republic -Slept in an elevator on a cruise ship -Walked the streets of Paris for an entire night -Stood atop the fortress of San Juan, Puerto Rico -Wrecked a motorcycle in Guatemala -Saw the Austrian School of Economics in Vienna -Stood atop the Empire State Building -Went diving with a nurse shark in St. Marteen -Drove across the Austria/Hungary border just to do it -Lived in a medieval castle in Ireland -Chased buffalo in Wyoming -Walked a chicken on a leash in the jungles of El Salvador -Sang Do-re-mi in the Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg -Won a fistfight in La Havana -Saw Mozart's birthplace -Drank vodka in Bratislava -Walked through Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C. -Hitchhiked in the back of a hearse in Cuba -Taught kindergarten in Costa Rica -Took tango lessons from the Argentines -Found $100 USD on the ground in Mexico -Saw the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway -Retraced the path of EZ Company in Normandy -Faked a British accent in England -Walked through the world's largest ice caves in Austria -Rode the world's oldest steamboat in Norway -Jumped across the Honduras / El Salvador border -Walked through the world's oldest brewery in Germany -Visited the oldest palace in Korea -Saw Real Madrid play Barcelona at Camp Nou -Drank wine at a French vineyard -Jumped a fence and ran onto a World Cup field -Drank an entire bottle of Champagne on top of a mountain in France... and then hiked down. PHILOSOPHY They have always told me to learn from my experiences... So I figured, the more experiences, the better my chances.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I've hosted surfers in Korea, France, and now here in Raleigh, NC. If anyone is ever coming through, I would be more than happy to host and show someone around. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have hosted many more than I have stayed at, but I'm always on the move, and because I work in hotels, I usually get to stay for nearly free. I would like to do some more couchsurfing, though.

If you can dance to it, play it.
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
Real Madrid vs Barcelona at Camp Nou. Incredible.
教学、学习、分享
I have lots of experience in Latin American, Europe, and Asia. I love discussing cultures, business, history, and anything really. If all of this can be done over a drink, or a few drinks, even better. If you like to talk, chances are we will get along.
我能与房东分享的
A good drink, a good talk, and all-around good company.
