CURRENT MISSION Student ABOUT ME I am a pianist. I cannot live without making music and playing music. Recently I am learning violin and harmonic. Besides music, coding (debugging) and traveling (couchsurfing) are my other main interests. I think life is filled with adventures. I grew up in Shanghai, China, a modern city that I have lived for 16 years. When I was 16, I become an exchange student in Lancaster, PA, USA. I liked backpacking ever since. That's why I wanted to get it a try and felt in love with couchsurfing ever since. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE -Couchsurfed in Bangladesh, Mexico. -Hosted two couchsurfers. -Did homestay in Rongai, Tanzania.

I traveled to Beijing alone with only $150 for 10 days... I went abroad to study alone in the US when I was 16... I took Amtrak alone from PA to Indiana to visit colleges when I was 17... I learned how to skateboard in one summer and still learning how to skate properly I am a certified open water diver I taught English in Tanzania and lived with a host family for 3 weeks... I did a 6-week internship with Grameen Bank in Bangladesh for 6 weeks... I did a cross country road trip from San Francisco to Boston in 14 days... I lived in Oaxaca, Mexico to learn Spanish :)

Everytime that I travel, I always like to take time and to get to know the locals. Through those amazing local people, I get to know the best restaurants, bars, beaches and places that tourists wouldn't discover. I love every single moment of the "fireside chat" with the couchsurfers or couchsurfing hosts. For me, it's the best way to explore the world.

Piano, violin, coding, painting, figure drawing, photography, diving, surfing, traveling, hiking, reading. I love to travel. Whenever I have free time, I always spend on travelling.
