HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm open to experience almost anything! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My really good friend Sheila is an active couchsurfer, hostess and now a Long Beach CS Ambassador. I have met many wonderful people (both couchsurfers and non-couchsurfers) through her! I had my first CS experience with Sheila, Lisa and Aleks in Chicago (June 2008). The 3 of us stayed with Nathan & Elaina in the Southside of Chicago. It was the best experience and I love how everyone was welcoming and hospitable. We also stayed with Aleks in the 'burbs called Hoffman Estates. What fun! :)

:Movies: Thought provoking, mystery-suspense and lots of 80's comedies. I'm a complete sap, so you'll never find me too busy for a good romantic comedy. Who doesn't ♥ a happy ending? :Music: The world really couldn't be any better without music! I ♥ deep, funky, jazzy, sexy, disco, soulful, up-lifting house, but I don't discriminate. I ♥ any infectious rhythm because it always brings a smile to my face. I ♥ JAMIROQUAI! :Books: I buy tons of books, but never finish from end to end. Sometimes I'll pick up a magazine while I'm in line at the grocery store, but who am I kidding? I never finish them either!

Life isn't for pussies. period. Okay, that was a joke. But really... Life is too short to be caught up with yesterday. Live in the moment because no one could out smart time. Last year, I witnessed a horrific vehicle vs pedestrian accident. The pedestrian came away with a few cuts & bruises, but wow... What an eye opener for me. Life is so precious. Don't take anyone or anything for granted and always, always, ALWAYS be appreciative for what you have!

I enjoy many things, but dancing is probably at the top of my list. Nothing is as liberating as self expression through music and dance. I spend time with family & friends as much as I can. I travel at least twice a year. I am a true lover of spontaneity and am always up for a good adventure.
