COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've been hosted in NYC, Aachen and Braga being all of them wonderful experiences. I've hosted a big deal (although unfortunately it's not possible for me anymore) showing around my cities and I consider it to be the greatest way of rediscovering your hometown yourself.
